TOWANDA - J. Marion Rigg, 81, Roseville, father of Towanda and Pontiac residents, passed away Monday (Jan. 9, 2006) at Apache Junction Care Center, Apache Juntion, Ariz.
He was born Aug. 7, 1924, a son of Ward and Dolly Coghill Rigg in Colchester. He married Helen L. Anderson on Sept. 29, 1946, in Swan Township of Warren County.
Survived by wife; one son, Mark (Julie) Rigg, Roseville; three daughters, Anita (Larry) Sands, Towanda; Cindy (Greg) Hall, Othello, Wash.; and Nancy (Phil) LoPiccalo, Pontiac; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by parents, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.

He was raised in Colchester and farmed in McDonough County, moving to Swan Township, Warren County, in 1952, where he has lived since and farmed. He sold Mormans Feed for livestock for 20 years. He raised livestock until 2004 when he retired.
He was a member of the Roseville Christian Church, Roseville Masonic Lodge AF&AM 519 and Mohammad Shrine of Peoria.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Corman Memorial Home, Roseville. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Roseville Memorial Park, Roseville.
