NORMAL - Jacqueline Hansen, 75, Normal, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday (April 26, 2006) peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1617 E. Emerson St., Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Rev. Knight Wells will officiate. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the church in her memory.
Jacqueline was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Bloomington, a daughter of Walter Garbe and Hazel Barnes Garbe. She married Donald L. Hansen on Nov. 6, 1948, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2004.
Jacqueline and her husband bought Mace Printing Co. in 1962, and in 1975 they opened Mace Office Supplies, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
Jacqueline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be dearly missed by all.
Jacqueline is survived by two daughters, Winnie (Terry) Leverton, Normal, and Jill (Alan) Lockenvitz, Bloomington; a son, Douglas Hansen, Normal; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Mindy) Leverton, David (Helen) Leverton, Ryan (Missy) Leverton, John (Sara) Lockenvitz, Scott Lockenvitz and Meghan and Elizabeth Hansen; six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Paige, Lindsey, Kyle and Luke Donald Leverton and Jamie Tate-Lockenvitz; and one sister, Louise DeVary, Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; two brothers; and two sisters.
