LINCOLN — Dr. James C. Aldendifer, of Lincoln, died at 2:35 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 18, 2006) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. James Cravens officiating. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, is in charge of arrangements.
Burial: Union Cemetery, Lincoln, with full military rites accorded.
Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
Memorials: Trinity Episcopal Church or The American Diabetes Association.
Survivors: His wife, Ruth Goebel, Lincoln: two sons, James C. (Stephanie) Aldendifer Jr., Dallas, Texas; and Robert M. Aldendifer, Redondo Beach, Calif.; three stepsons, Robert (Maxine) Goebel, Owensboro, Ky.; Bruce (Martha) Goebel, Harding; and Steven (Carol) Goebel, Shelbyville; one sister, Marianne A. Tucker, Naples, Fla.; three grandsons, James C. Aldendifer, III, Brent W. Aldendifer and Peter M. Aldendifer, all of Plano, Texas; seven stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
