LAKE BLOOMINGTON — James Malay, 77, of Lake Bloomington died at 11:32 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 24, 2015) at his home.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, with the Rev. Michael Schaab and the Rev. Carl LoPresti officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Jim Malay Endowment Fund, Timber Pointe Charitable Foundation, 20 Timber Pointe Lane, Hudson, IL 61748.
Jim was deeply loved by his family who survives him: his wife, Elaine; daughters, Susan McNary, Julie Friedmann and Karen Compton; son, Jim Malay; sons-in-law, Bill McNary, Ed Friedmann and Spencer Compton; daughter-in-law, Alicia Malay; as well as grandchildren, Molly, Kathleen, Maggie, Ryan, Ellie, Nora, Meghan, Nell, Liam and Sarah.
