EL PASO — Jay L. Partner, 54, of 800 N. Adams St., El Paso, died at 1:56 p.m. Monday (Dec. 5, 2005) at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. The Rev. Wes Ooms will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be directed to the El Paso Rescue Squad or Kidney Foundation.
Jay was born Nov. 16, 1951, in Bloomington, a son of Lloyd and Norma Blackmore Partner. He married Sharon M. Mool on Nov. 17, 1972, in El Paso. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2002.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Partner, El Paso; one daughter, Kevyn (Joe) McLaughlin, Washington; one son, Kris (Jen Hemingway) Partner, El Paso; and three foster sisters, Julie Hayes, Pekin; Nancy Hayes, Pontiac; and Bev (Mark) Enright, Gridley.
He also was preceded in death by his father.
Jay attended the Nashville Diesel College and was employed as a driver by Stoller Trucking, Gridley. He was a member of the Secor Sportsmen's Club.
One thing Jay truly enjoyed was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle during his leisure time.
