BLOOMINGTON — Jerry L. Ross, 70, of Bloomington died at 6:51 p.m. Monday (Jan. 16, 2012) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
His graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. There will be no visitation. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ross family.
He was born April 21, 1941, in Bloomington, the son of Charles D. and Clara May Taylor Ross.
Surviving are two sons, Zach (Itsuka) Ross of Hawaii and Matt Ross of Bloomington; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Terry Ross Sr. of Bloomington, Jack Ross of East Palatka, Fla., Stephen (Lori) Ross and Charles “Doc” (Anita) Ross, both of Bloomington; and two sisters, Linda (Terry) Pitcock of San Antonio, Texas and Ruth (John) Clymer of Goodfield.
He was preceded in death his parents and a son, Sean C. Ross.
Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local No. 8.
