CHENOA - Jimmy J. Potts, 60, of rural Chenoa, died at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 14, 2006) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, with the Rev. Rob McCoy officiating. Cremation rites will take place at the conclusion of the service.
Jimmy was born June 16, 1946, in Vincennes, Ind., a son to Marvin and Marguerite Small Potts. He served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are two sons, James M. Potts and Jess F. Potts, both of Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to the Jimmy J. Potts Memorial Fund.
