BLOOMINGTON — Gweneth Joan Short Fenner, 71, formerly of Bloomington, passed away Nov. 2, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital.
Joan was born Dec. 26, 1934, in Farmer City, to Les and Katherine Demaree Short. They precede.
Surviving are one daughter, Lisa (Ken) Gangwer of Albion, Ind.; one daughter-in-law, Jill Mays of Syracuse, Ind.; seven sons, David (Dianne) of White Pigeon, Mich.; James (Teresa) of Middlebury, Ind.; Steve (Cathy) of Goshen, Ind.; Brian of Syracuse; and Tony (Mary), Scott (Amberly) and Bill, all of Elkhart, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Charlotte (William) Myers of Bloomington. She was preceded by one daughter, JoEllen; and son, Michael.
Cremation rites have been accorded and burial was in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury. Ms. Fenner lived for nine years with her son, Brian, in Syracuse. She spent most of her life in the Middlebury and Goshen communities and retired from the Weyerheauser plant in Middlebury.
