Le Etta Brockway, 86, of Bloomington, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday (June 9, 2018) at OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Pastor David Ratley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
Le Etta was born March 15, 1932, in Viva, Ky., to Dewey and Lillie Fields Westerfield. She married Gilbert Brockway. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gilbert and Roger; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Linda Brockway, Bloomington; David Brockway, Bloomington; and Larry (Eileen) Brockway, Oswego; two grandchildren, Gilbert (Therese) Brockway and Laura Brockway; and five great-grandchildren, Charles, Brooke, Katy, Anthony and Heavyn.
Le Etta worked many years in laundry at Illinois State University. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
