SAN JOSE — Leroy William Faulkin, 93, of San Jose died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 24, 2005) at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mount Pulaski.
A memorial service celebrating Leroy's life will be at a later date. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, San Jose. There will be no visitation. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, handled the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of San Jose or Vonderlieth Living Center.
He was born Sept. 17, 1912, at San Jose, a son of George and Bess Mangold Faulkin. He married Eunice Bergman on Oct. 30, 1947, at Enid, Okla. She preceded in death on Aug. 30, 1999.
Surviving are one daughter, Rita (Dr. Robert) Miller, Bloomington; and four grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Boulder, Colo.; Jay Miller, Los Angeles, Calif.; Dr. Allyson Miller, Troy, Mich.; and Kristin Miller, San Diego, Calif.
He was a lifelong farmer in the San Jose area and a member of San Jose United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
