CLINTON — Leslie Ann Bell, 69, of Clinton, passed away at 2:40 p.m. April 6, 2017, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Her memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clinton United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Private family burial will be at a later date at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie was born March 21, 1948, in Barrington, the daughter of Paul and Charlotte Wells Speight.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy (Andrew) O’Neall, Downs; son, Chris Bell, DeKalb; two grandchildren, Abraham and Anna O’Neall, Downs; brother, Kent (Linda) Speight, Red Wing, Minn.; and sister, Mary (Bob) Spain, Gurnee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Leslie was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She was a trauma nurse working in the emergency room at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton, and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. Leslie was also a parish nurse for the Clinton United Methodist Church. Leslie enjoyed reading and traveling. She had traveled to Ireland and Israel. She was also a member of CORN – the Clinton Old Retired Nurses. Leslie considered her friends her family and enjoyed spending time with them as well as supporting her grandchildren in all their activities.
