KIMBERLING CITY, MO. — Lyle Eugene Tyson was born March 18, 1945, in Peoria, and departed this life on Thursday (April 6, 2017) at the age of 72. He was the son of Chester and Roberta Adams Tyson.
Lyle was in the construction business for many years, having started with his father at the age of 14. He, Anny and his boys, built several houses around the Bloomington area. He was a maintenance foreman for Bergner's Department Store in Bloomington, before retiring to Hiles, Wis., where he and Anny owned and operated Tyson Sunset Resort. Lyle and Anny moved to southwest Missouri in 1997. He was president of the Vintage Vettes of the Ozarks in Springfield, Mo., from 2005 to 2006. Lyle was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carol Hilger; and his wife, Anny.
Survivors include his wife, Emily; sons Tracy and Todd, both of Wichita, Kan., Kent (Vicki), Bloomington, Tyler (Joyce), Harrah, Okla., Keith, Chicago, Sean (Renee) Pinegar, Galena, Mo., and daughter Robin (Greg) Langton, Manhattan, Kan.; one sister, Sharon Bruell, Sparland; and one brother, Allen (Cathy) Tyson, Argonne, Wis. Lyle had 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
