LeROY — M. Irene Woodrey, 96, of Normal, formerly of Blair House and LeRoy, passed away at 4 a.m. Saturday (April 22, 2017) at Heritage Manor, Normal.
Her graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. Pastor Ed Davis will officiate. There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy, is in charge of arrangements.
Irene was born March 5, 1921, in LeRoy, to Paul and Emma Staley Woodrey.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Pauline Woodrey; and two brothers, Roger and Raymond Val Woodrey.
Irene was a member of LeRoy Bethel Church for many years. She worked for State Farm for 42 years and retired in 1986. After her retirement, she volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for a few months. She enjoyed helping people.
