NORMAL -Margaret “Pauline” Nafziger, 75, of 1907 Park West Drive, Normal, died at 8:32 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 29, 2006) at her residence.
She will be cremated; there will be no service. Inurnment will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.

She was born Jan. 20, 1931, at Atlanta, a daughter of Vern E. and Leona Woolridge Gaither. She married John E. Nafziger on Aug. 20, 1948, at Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Leona Meyers, Oregon; five daughters, Linda K. Milligan, Normal; Cheryl (David) Brooks, Bloomington; Kathy (Abel) Hernandez, Bloomington; Melanie F. (Dennis ) Shirley, St. Joseph; and Mary Hernandez, Normal; one son, Steven Nafziger, Santa Fe, N.M.; one sister, Lavon (Thomas) Hudson, Bloomington; one brother, Roger (May) Gaither of Oregon; one stepbrother, Roy Woodrum, Missouri; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Diana Eft; one sister, Elsie Curry; and one stepbrother, Ron Woodrum.
Pauline had formerly worked at S.S. Kresge Co., Peifer's Market, Eastgate IGA and Kroger in Bloomington, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the UFCW Local 536.
