EL PASO — Margaret Elvira Roberts, 72, of El Paso, passed away at 2:07 a.m. Monday (April 24, 2017) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
She was born March 1, 1945, in Letts, Iowa, a daughter of Fred and Margaret Flake Uthe. She married Frank H. Roberts on July 12, 1969, in West Liberty, Iowa. He passed away on May 15, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Mary (Joel) Carter, Kernersville, N.C.; Everett (Janice) Roberts, El Paso; Tom (Tricia) Roberts, Parkville, Md.; Jack (Barb) Roberts, Walkertown, N.C.; Carrie (Michael) Thompson, El Paso; and Robert (Sally) Roberts, El Paso; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a homemaker. She later worked at Nestle Beich in Bloomington, retiring July 29, 2007. She then returned to her love of being a homemaker and loving housewife.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. The Rev. Dr. Tim Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.
