LEXINGTON - Marie Lindenbaum, 90, of 203 S. Cedar St., Lexington, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 29, 2006) at Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa.

A brief service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert & Musselman Funeral Home, Lexington, with the Rev. Ray Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington. There will be no visitation.

As to Marie's request, there will be no memorials or flowers.

Marie was born May 29, 1915, in Chicago the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Morse. She married Byron Lindenbaum of Lexington on March 15, 1942. They farmed east of Lexington. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1994.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, John (Connie) Lindenbaum of Lexington; a sister-in-law, Berdean (Frank) Freed of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lexington.
