BLOOMINGTON — Marilyn McKinley, 79, of 1017 S. Mercer, Apt. 312, Bloomington, died at 12:42 p.m. Friday (Dec. 16, 2005) at her residence. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
Marilyn was born in Charlotte Township, Livingston County, on March 27, 1926, the daughter of Clarence W. and Alice Milstead McKinley, who both preceded her in death along with two brothers.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley Gifford, Lena, and Phyllis Leathers, Pinnellas Park, Fla.; two brothers, Glenn McKinley, Mahomet; and Robert McKinley, Bloomington; along with five nieces, six nephews, and many friends.
Marilyn started working for the Citizens Bank of Chatsworth while still in school, later moving to Bloomington and working for Baker Monitor Pump Co., Townsend Well Supply, Total Well Supply, and ending her working career as manager of Bradford Well Supply.
The hallmark of Marilyn's life has been her unconditional love for her family and friends.
In her memory, may we all strive to attain some measure of this part of her character that made her so loved as a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
