ROBERTS — Mary Aldeen Davis, 95, of Rowland Heights, Calif., formerly of Roberts, died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 11, 2005) at the Gladstone Care & Rehabilitation Center in Glendora, Calif.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Congregational Christian Church in Roberts, with the Rev. Robert Hackl officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis was born June 28, 1910, in Roberts, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Eppleheimer Barber. She married Lloyd Davis. He died in September 1945.
Surviving are two sons, Roger Douglas Hodges, Rowland Heights, Calif., and Vance Lamonte Davis, Victorville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Davis owned Aldeen's Beauty Shoppe in Roberts for many years.
She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church in Roberts, Order of the Eastern Star in Melvin, Wagner Davis American Legion Auxiliary in Roberts and was a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Congregational Christian Church or the Wagner Davis American Legion Auxiliary.
