NORMAL - Mary Helen Thornbrough, 96, of 510 Broadway, Normal, formerly of Fowler, Ind., died at 12:20 a.m. Monday (Dec. 19, 2005) at Manorcare Health Services in Normal.
Her graveside service will be at noon EST Thursday at the Fowler Cemetery, Fowler, Ind. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery, Fowler, Ind. The Rev. Ann Williams officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.

She was born March 18, 1909, at Grandview, Ind., to Otto and Alta Raaf Dennison. She married William C. Thornbrough on Sept. 24, 1941, at Fowler, Ind. He died on Dec. 21, 1977.
She is survived by one daughter, Gerry (Marv) Leuck, Bloomington; and four grandchildren, Brad (Beth) Leuck, Normal; Kate (Nik) Lyons, Farmer City; and Ross and Anne Leuck, Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
She was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church, Fowler, Ind.
She was a 1927 graduate of Raub High School, Raub, Ind. She graduated from the state of Indiana School for Librarians in 1937. She was a former librarian at the Fowler Benton County Library.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
