BLOOMINGTON - Mary L. Hunt, 84, of 1214 N. Madison St., Bloomington, died at 12:01 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, and at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, with the Rev. Monsignor Douglas Hennessy officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mary was born April 29, 1921, in Bloomington, the daughter of John and Millie Mauer Elshoff. She married John C. Hunt on Sept. 15, 1947, in Bloomington. He died June 29, 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Hunt, Bloomington, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and George Elshoff.
Mary was a 1940 graduate of Trinity High School. She had worked at State Farm Insurance Cos., Livingston's Department Store and for McLean County in small claims. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Bloomington, the Altar & Rosary Society of the church and the VFW Post 454 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and baking.
