CISSNA PARK — Mary Lou Kaeb, 83, of Cissna Park, formerly of Fairbury, passed away on Friday (Jan. 23, 2015) at Fairview Haven Nursing Home in Fairbury.

She was born June 24, 1931, in Fairbury, the daughter of Urban and Ollie Moser Steidinger. She married Elmer William Kaeb on Aug. 1, 1954, in Fairbury and he survives.

Besides her husband, Elmer, she is survived by 12 children, Elsie (Merle) Eisenmann, Cissna Park; Paul (Joan) Kaeb, Sabetha, Kan.; Linda (Don) Sinn, Silverton, Ore.; Max (Beth) Kaeb, Cissna Park; Jim (Diane) Kaeb, Sabetha, Kan.; Eric (Lou Ann) Kaeb, Cissna Park; Hartzell (Denise) Kaeb, Cissna Park; Harvey (Judy) Kaeb, Gridley; Darlene (Russ) Walder, Rankin; Les (Christine) Kaeb, Francisville, Ind.; Leon Kaeb, Bloomington; and Todd (Valarie) Kaeb, Cissna Park; five brothers, Charles, David, Tom, Eldon, and Dennis Steidinger, all of Fairbury; four sisters, Marjorie Edelman, Sabetha, Kan.; Velda Glueck, Tremont; Barbara Kaeb, Fairbury; and Judy Bachtold, Strawn; 64 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Maurice and Donald Steidinger; two grandchildren, Andrew Kaeb and Angela Sinn; and one great-granddaughter, Addi Hartter.

She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park. Ministers of the church will officiate. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Cissna Park. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Cissna Park and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Sunday School or Apostolic Christian World Relief.
