EUREKA — Melba M. Mangold, 95, of Eureka, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2015) at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1920, in Roanoke, to Ezra and Anna Leman Mangold.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Dorothy “Polly” Mangold, Leipsic, Ohio; nieces, Nancy (Scott) Zahner, Mary (John) Evans, Luann (Mike) Hoffman, Dorothy (Steve) Viens and Pam (Gary) Trinque, all of Connecticut; Cathy (Keith) Steffen, Washington; Conni (Bill) Witzig, Indianapolis, Ind.; Vicky Mangold, Leipsic, Ohio; nephews, John (Mary) Isch, Carmel, Ind.; Jonathon Mangold, Zionsville, Ind.; Ed (Terry) Mangold, Connecticut; Dan (Angie) Mangold, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and many great and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Melba worked at Dr. Riley’s office in Eureka for many years.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Eureka, where the service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from noon to 1 p.m. at the church before the service. Burial will be in the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
