BLOOMINGTON — Melissa Jean Baugh, 43, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:23 a.m. Friday (April 21, 2017) at her home.
Her visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. She will be cremated and a memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will be in Funks Grove Cemetery.

Melissa was born Aug. 30, 1973 in Bloomington.
She is survived by her mother, Kris Baugh, Bloomington; a brother, Charles (Jill) Baugh, Normal; four nieces and nephews, Stephen, Ariella, Payton and Dillon; her father, Gary (Rhonda) Baugh, Mason City; paternal grandmother, Norma Scott, Bloomington; and four half siblings, Amy Armstrong, Sarah Lucas, Andrew Baugh and Claire Steinkruger.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Margaret Rose and Horace Boyd, Charles Lester Baugh and Ronald Scott.
Melissa enjoyed shopping, giving hugs and never knew a stranger. She brought joy to complete strangers and always seemed to know something about those she met. She made gifts, including beads, and enjoyed giving them to others.
Also surviving are her beloved cats, Bart, Lisa and Princess Bear.
