CISSNA PARK - Monte Cluver, 54, St. Joseph, formerly of Cissna Park, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 15, 2006) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.His funeral was Monday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand St., St. Joseph, with the Rev. Kevin Wendorf officiating. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery, St. Joseph.
Mr. Cluver was born Aug. 17, 1951, at Watseka, the son of Delbert and Norma Rohrbach Cluver. He married Marlene Kemmer on Jan. 20, 1973, at Gibson City. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Norma Cluver, Cissna Park; two daughters, Dawn Cluver, Champaign, and Torrie Straka, Wales, Wis.; one grandson; two brothers, Bradley Cluver, Valparaiso, Ind., and Robin Cluver, Cissna Park; and one sister, Jeanie Teske, Buckley.
His father preceded him in death.
Mr. Cluver owned M. Cluver Milk Transport since 1991. He formerly worked at Kraft and Meadow Gold in Champaign. He was a Chicago White Sox fan.
