BELLFLOWER — Nancy L. Bidner, 72, of Bellflower, passed away at 4:48 a.m. Wednesday (April 5, 2017) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, with Dr. Lonnie S. Southern and Pastor Louella Pence officiating. Burial will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bellflower Christian Church.
Nancy was born April 25, 1944, in Bellflower, a daughter of George Mason and Evelyn Stockwell Welch. She married Clifford Carden in 1964. She later married Lee Bidner on July 29, 2000, in Bellflower.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Bidner, Bellflower; son, Clint (Heather) Carden, Syracuse, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Jennifer (Joe) Buck, Champaign; Barbara Bidner, Bloomington; Anita (Bob) Messier, Fork Union, Va.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; six brothers, Larry (Karen) Welch, Mansfield; Rick (Sandra) Bradbury, Cisne; Gary (Debbie) Bradbury, Utica; Bruce Bradbury, Dana; Brian (Linda) Bradbury, Dana; Dan (Jamie) Bradbury, Streator; brother-in-law, Oliver Bidner, Meadows; sister-in-law, Erma (Marion) Giertz, Bellflower.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Jeff Carden, Clifford Carden, Michelle Carden and Carla Carden; siblings, Sally Jones, Don Welch, Stan Welch, Elaine Vance and Judy Johnson; and one great-granddaughter.
Nancy was a member of Bellflower Christian Church. She greatly enjoyed all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Nancy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed the great outdoors, flowers and mowing her lawn.
