Patricia Anderson

Patricia Ann Anderson of Normal passed away Wednesday (Dec. 6, 2017) at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born Dec. 16, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernie and Edith Drane; brother, Elbert "Charles" Marsee; and sister, Delores Carmody.

On Nov. 28, 1953, Patricia married Clifford Anderson, her soulmate in this world and the next. Clifford survives along with their four children, Cynthia Traub, David (Mary) Anderson, Donald (Lisa) Anderson and Douglas Anderson. Patricia and Clifford have 13 grandchildren, Melissa (Darron) Newbill, Jamie Gibson, Nicholas (Kristy) Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Benjamin Anderson, Gina Anderson, Joshua (Cassie) Anderson, Joseph (Alyssa) Anderson, Brett (Molly) Anderson, Douglas Anderson Jr., Paige Anderson, Noah Anderson and Faith Anderson. They also have six great-grandchildren, Akiah Newbill, Leilani Newbill, Emily Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Naomi Anderson, Benaiah Anderson, and a baby boy due in March.

Patricia loved the Lord and was a member of Cross Pointe Church of God. Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends, reading and sewing. She was an avid fisherwoman and could out crappie fish anyone. Patricia was also known for her wonderful baking. Her family has the best memories of spending time with her in the kitchen.

Visitation for Patricia is 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cross Pointe Church of God in Bloomington. Immediately following the visitation will be a memorial service at the church with Dr. Kevin Summers as officiant. Cremation rites have been preformed by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.
