COOKSVILLE - Patricia L. Evans, 69, Cooksville, died at 2:50 a.m. Monday (Nov. 6, 2006) in Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Union Church, Cooksville. There will be a one-hour visitation at the church prior to the funeral service. The Rev. Vernon Oakley will officiate and burial will follow in Dawson Cemetery, rural Ellsworth. There will be a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 101 W. Center, LeRoy.-;

Patricia was born March 18, 1937, in Kenney. She was the daughter of Emery E. and Margaret B. Linton Mears. She married James Allen Evans on July 3, 1955, in LeRoy. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1974.-;
She is survived by two sons, Gary Evans, Normal, and Douglas (Charlotte) Evans, Peoria; three daughters, Wanda Evans, Normal; Carol (Dennis Miller) Evans, Minier; and Diana Embry, Cooksville; four grandchildren, Brandon Evans, Ross Evans-;and Sophie Evans,-;all of Normal; and Kelli Embry of Cooksville; eight great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, Desra Nevins and Danielle Henkel, both of Bloomington; one brother, Robert (Mary) Mears, LeRoy; one sister, Jane Farmer, Bloomington; two brother-in-laws, Don (Lois) Evans, Ellsworth, and Gerald (Carol) Milton, Monticello; and a special friend, Arthur "Tick" Spencer, Crawfordsville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Edith Milton and Thelma Williams.
She worked for 37 years as an office manager for the Cooksville Grain Co., Cooksville. She was-;affiliated with the Union Church, Cooksville, and was a member of the LeRoy Country Club, LeRoy.
She enjoyed golfing and traveling; and she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister.
