CLINTON - Pearl Hassinger, 76, Clinton, died at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday (June 13, 2007) at her family residence in Clinton.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Ernie Harvey Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery, Farmer City. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Christian County, a daughter of Homer and Sylvia Barger Cook. She married Cecil Doss. She later married Virgil Hassinger. Both husbands preceded her in death.
Surviving is one daughter, Donna Jean Kirby, Kentucky; one grandson, Mike (Jennifer) Kirby, Kentucky; two sisters, Betty Stone and Mickey (Dick) Sturgeon, both of Clinton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nona Kemplin, Farmer City.
She enjoyed playing bingo.
