DWIGHT - Richard L. "Rick" Sullivan, 63, of 307 E. Prospect St., Dwight, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday (Oct. 29, 2007) at Morris Hospital emergency room.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the memorial home, with Pastor Pat Morton officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac, with full military rites conducted by Dwight VFW Men's Auxiliary Post 2608 and Dwight American Legion Post 486.
Rick was born June 28, 1944, in Pontiac, son of Francis "Rocky" and Helen Petersen Sullivan. He married Dianne G. Hasselbring on Dec. 8, 1989, in Dwight. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kelly (Tony) Wygonski, Downers Grove, and Kerry (Bob) Kinsloe, Chicago; two stepdaughters, Brenda Riss and Dawn (Mike) Schroeder, both of Dwight; one stepson, Brad Johnson, Chicago; seven grandchildren, Joe Wygonski; Jack and Dan Kinsloe; Devin and Bryon Riss; and Collin and Caden Schroeder; niece and nephew, Barb and Buddy Long; brother-in-law, Dale (Cheryl) Hasselbring; sister-in-law, Sue Ann (Dennis) O'Connor; and several aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Roxanne Long.
Rick was retired from Caterpillar where he was a supervisor.
He graduated from Odell High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary Post 2608, American Legion Post 486, Danish Brotherhood and the NRA.
He was an avid fisherman. He loved his family and friends, yard work, painting, and trapshooting.
