Robert “Bob” Risinger, 74, of Tremont, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Sunday (April 15, 2018) at his home.
He was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Pekin, to Milton H. and Evelyn P. Anderson Risinger. He married M. Ann Worsham on Aug. 16, 1963, in Tremont. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Robert A. “Bobby” (Brenda) Risinger, Tremont; one foster son, Larry Rauch, Pekin; one daughter, Terri (Darrin) Hawkins, Mackinaw; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles (Sharin) Risinger, Tremont; Harold (Sandy) Risinger, Tremont; David (Suzanne) Risinger, Marquette Heights; Steven (Debra) Risinger, Hopedale; two sisters, Helen (Harlan) Lusher, Clarkdale, Ariz., and Lois (Allan) Herman, Pekin; and his beloved Boston terrier, Ro.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his Boston terrier, Tinker.
Bob was a journeyman lineman for eight years and was a carpenter millwright for 40 years. He loved fishing, and waterfowl hunting.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home, Tremont. His nephew, Pastor John Worsham Jr., will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Washington. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Diabetes Foundation or Apostolic Christian Life Points.
