BLOOMINGTON - Robert W. Ferguson, 75, Bloomington, died at 10:50 a.m. Friday (Feb. 10, 2006) at ManorCare Health Services, Normal.

His memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, with the Revs. Ellen and Joe Culpepper officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the memorial home, with Masonic funeral rites at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centennial Christian Church, Bloomington, or the Illinois Masonic Home at Sullivan.

He was born June 25, 1930, in Decatur, a son of Donovan E. and Clara Belle May Ferguson. He married Cynthia Mathias on July 31, 1955, at Decatur. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Phil (Deb) Ferguson and Kendall E. Ferguson, both of Bloomington; and Mike R. (Cindy) Ferguson, Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Marcia (Rick) Nolan, Bloomington; a twin sister, Lysbeth Kelly, Janesville, Wis.; a brother, Douglas (Mary) Ferguson, Tomball, Texas; and 10 grandchildren, Kris, Brent (Tara), Megan, Morgan, Ben, Carissa and Kevin Ferguson; and Eric, Lindsay and Kellie Nolan.

His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Ferguson was employed by Union Camp Corp. in Bloomington for 21 years, retiring June 30, 1993.

He was a member Centennial Christian Church and the Eastview Christian Church Spiritlifters, both in Bloomington; member and past master of Bloomington Lodge 43 A.F.&A.M.; and member of the Bloomington Scottish Rite Bodies, where he was a recipient of the Bloomington Medal. He was a member of the American Passion Play cast for 20 years and a former board member of Rainbow Girls. He was awarded the Rainbow Girls Grand Cross of Honor and the DeMolay Cross of Honor.
