Rosella Limback

Rosella Mae Limback, 103, of Normal, passed away 4:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 14, 2017) at Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.

Rosella was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Bloomington, to John Alfred and Rosella Frances Kagel Stadsholt. She married Albert E. Limback on Nov. 14, 1936. He passed away July 20, 1981.

Also preceding in death were three sons, Dale, William and Lawrence Limback; one daughter, Marla Beth Limback; two brothers, John and William Stadsholt; and one sister, Lillian Jacob.

Surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Laesch, Bloomington, and Rosalie (Frank) Westerfield, Morton; five grandsons, Tim (Sherry) Cooper, Morton; Mark (Angela) Cooper, Downs; Eric Laesch, Bloomington; Steve (Emily) Laesch, Greenville; and Doug Laesch, Bloomington; 10 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Rosella was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Normal. She was a member of the Sewing Circle, Sarah Circle, JOYs Bible Class and Altar Guild. In earlier years she played the organ at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Manito.

Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, Normal, with the Rev. Jonathan Huehn and the Rev. Timothy Fitzner officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Meadow Lawn Cemetery, Manito. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, Pekin, is in charge of Rosella’s arrangements.
