DEWEY— Rueger Alan Hudson, 1, of Dewey, received his angel wings Thursday (April 20, 2017) in Fisher, peacefully in his sleep.
Rueger was born Oct. 1, 2015, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, to David and Brittany Langley Hudson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Baker officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City.
Survivors include his parents, David and Brittany Hudson, Dewey; his twin brother, Mason; two sisters, Haylee and MaKenzie; three half sisters, Alyssa and Madison Largent and Kyndra Hudson; maternal grandfather, William (Barb) Prough, Homer; paternal grandfather, Gene (Cissy) Hudson, Guthrie; paternal grandmother, Renea (Joe) Melchi, Fisher; paternal great-grandparents, Clyde (Linda) Hudson, Elliott; paternal great-grandmother, Linda Thomsen, Fisher; one aunt, Kristina (Rick) Shep, Fisher; three uncles, Andrew Langley, Mahomet; Christopher (Ashley) Langley, Savoy; and Cody Prough, Homer; and four cousins, Cohen and Everly Shep, Fisher; and Piper and Skylar Langley, Mahomet,
Rueger was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marcy Langley of Mahomet.
Rueger loved playing with his twin brother, Mason. He also loved watching Mickey Mouse.
