LEXINGTON — Sarah E. Fincham, 77, Lexington, died at 6:33 pm. Tuesday (Jan. 29, 2013) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home, Lexington, with the Rev. David Bergelin officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Sarah was born April 13, 1935, in Gibson City, the daughter of Lee and Helen Price Whaley. She married Robert W. “Bob” Fincham on April 6, 1957, in Cullom.
He survives along with five children, Doug and Debbie Fincham, both of Lexington; Brad (Patty) Fincham, Englewood, Colo.; Beth (Rick) Barkes, Lexington; and Kevin (Heidi) Fincham, Fairview, Tenn.; one brother, Les (Diane) Whaley, Columbia, S.C.; and four grandsons, Ryan and Robbie Fincham, and Nick and Matt Barkes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Sarah was a retired secretary from State Farm Insurance Cos. in Bloomington. She enjoyed spending time at the riverboat and traveling.
She was a loving wife, mom and grandma who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially her grandsons.
