PONTIAC - Steven E. Maubach, 45, of Pontiac died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 11, 2006) at OSF Saint Frances Medical Center, Peoria.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac, Father Michael Bies officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Livingston Manor Nursing Home, his children's education fund or Masses
He was born April 21, 1960, in Pontiac, a son of Clarence and Luetta Cays Maubach.
He married Karen Lewis on May 25, 1988, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Loretta. She survives in Pontiac.
Also surviving are two sons, Matthew and Michael Maubach of Pontiac; and three sisters, Sandy (Tom) Harmon of Pontiac, Sharon (John) Delheimer of Cornell and MaryAnn (Loran) Harris of Gibson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Tim Maubach.
He was of the Catholic faith
He was a senior maintenance employee at the Livingston County Highway Department.
He was educated in Saunemin schools and was a graduate of Saunemin High School, class of 1978.
He was involved with the Threshermen's Reunion and restoration of antique tractors. He loved camping and fishing with his family.
