ROANOKE — Tara Jo Fuller, 10, Roanoke, passed away at 3:55 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 2012) in Roanoke.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home, Roanoke. Raymond Conde will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roanoke Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tara Fuller Memorial Fund, c/o Roanoke-Benson Community Bank.
She was born on Nov. 30, 2001, in Pekin, a daughter of Richard and Sherri Conde Fuller. She was born on her older brother’s birthday.
Surviving are her parents, Richard and Sherri Fuller, Roanoke; two brothers, Carl and Roy; and two sisters, Raelene and Darlene, all of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Betty and Raymond Conde, Fairbanks, Alaska; paternal grandparents, Carl and Pat Fuller, East Peoria; Margaret Bassett, Pekin; maternal great-grandmother, June Rinks, Fairbanks, Alaska; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tara was a fifth-grade student at Roanoke-Benson Junior High. She participated in RBRA Biddy Basketball and Volleyball. She was active in the Happy Hustlers 4-H group in Roanoke. She loved animals, especially her horse Lonie who passed away two years ago.
She did volunteer work at the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Home. Tara was a happy girl with a smile for everyone. She loved books and after reading all of her Dr. Seuss books she donated them to the Roanoke Library this past summer for others to enjoy. Tara also enjoyed helping her father in the garden by planting tomatoes. She loved to sell their produce to the people in their community.
