Terri M. Fowler, 55, of Normal, died Friday (Nov. 3, 2017) at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Terri was born Feb. 27, 1962, in Bloomington, the daughter of Bobbie Mattingly. She married Mark Fowler in Bloomington on Sept. 14, 1985. He survives.
Also surviving are their son, Adam C. Fowler, Normal; a brother, Mark L. (Christina Berta) Bailey, Henderson, Nev.; a niece, Melissa (Craig) Bailey Finch, B.C., Canada; a nephew, Kevin B. Bailey, Henderson, Nev.; and her beloved dog, “Holly.” She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Myrtle Mattingly; and her mother, Bobbie A. Bailey.
Terri worked as a field engineer for Corn Belt Energy for 20 years. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering for others, and camping at Hickory Hill Campground. She was known to bake the best pies.
Per Terri’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after the visitation at the Moose Lodge in Bloomington for everyone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mid Illinois Hematology.
