Terry L. Bounds, 60, of Pontiac, passed away 11:50 a.m. Monday (Dec. 4, 2017) at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home, Lexington, with the Rev. David Heath officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Terry was born Nov. 25, 1957, in Bloomington, the son of Lowell K. and Eleanor M. Law Bounds.
Surviving are three sons, Terry (Crystal) Bounds and Ricky Bounds, all of Litchfield, Ky., and Steven Bounds, Eureka; two grandchildren, Kyle and Dustin Bounds; three brothers, William (Peggy) Bounds, Kenosha, Wis.; Donald (Barbara) Bounds, Minonk; and Gary (Sharon) Bounds, Towanda; four sisters, Shirley Evans, Bloomington; Sandy (Harold) Stalter, Peru; Colleen (Bradley) Evans, Homosassa, Fla.; and Linda (Robert) Caughey, Pontiac.
Also, half brother, Kenneth Bounds, Georgetown, Fla.; and half sisters, Patricia Bounds, Crescent City, Fla., and Kandi (Bryonn) Bounds, Guinsler Yorktown, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ron; and a sister, Nancy.
Terry attended Pontiac Bible Church and graduated from Lexington High School in 1976. He worked as a machinist at Siebert and Sons in Chenoa and then as a mechanic at Bloomington 76 Auto Truck Plaza. Terry loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, which was his greatest love.
