TREMONT — Violet W. Koch, 92, of Tremont died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2006) at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
She was born Oct. 21, 1914, in Tremont, to Daniel R. and Mary C. Baurer Koch.
Surviving are seven brothers, David (Frances) Koch, Cleo (Nancy) Koch, Eugene Koch, Dan (Carol) Koch, Vernon (Ruth) Koch, Gerald (Bonnie) Koch and Elmon (Janice) Koch, all of Tremont; and two sisters, Carolyn Bolliger of Tremont and Miriam (Marvin) Frank of Pekin. She was a beloved aunt to 48 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ralph, Jesse and James.
She worked at Morton Pottery in Morton; Sharp Bros. Groceries & Dry Goods in Tremont; and Dr. James Davis, D.D.S in Morton.
She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. The ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Davis Mortuary, Tremont Chapel. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.
