William H. Patch
MINIER - William H. "Bill" Patch, 87, Minier, died at 7:55 a.m. Sunday (June 10, 2007) at Morton Terrace Care Center in Morton.
He was born May 2, 1920, in rural Hopedale, son of Walter and Nellie Eisenberger. He married Virginia Plummer on Feb. 28, 1945, in Minier and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline (Ken) Bridges, Lewisville, Texas; one son, Michael (Sandra) Patch of Green Valley, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Bidget Patch and Greg Patch both of Atlanta, Ga., and Diane Lewis of Grapevine, Texas.
Mr. Patch farmed in the Minier area his entire adult life. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Minier and the International Order of Odd Fellows. He also served as a Boy Scout leader in Minier for several years.
At his request, cremation has been accorded. There will be no visitation or service. Private burial will take place in Minier Cemetery at a later date. Davis Mortuary, Hopedale Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. To express condolences online, visit www.davismortuaryinc.com .
