Bloomington woman identified as victim of fatal crash near Arrowsmith

BLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington woman has been identified as the person killed in a two-vehicle crash near Arrowsmith on Sunday.

Ami J. Wicks, 42, was pronounced dead at 2:40 p.m. after the crash near 3300 East 1300 North Road in McLean County.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate Wicks died from multiple blunt injuries caused by the collision between her car and a semitrailer truck, according to the McLean County Coroner’s Office. Toxicology results are pending.

A passenger was treated and released at an area hospital after the crash, but his name and the nature of his injuries have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation by the McLean County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office.
