BLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington man involved in a motorcycle crash Thursday died after his motorcycle hit a street light pole.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder identified the man as Joshua M. Rash, 45. The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Pipeline Road, just north of Interstate 55, in north Normal.

On Friday, Yoder said Rash died of multiple blunt force injuries. Toxicology tests are pending further study. The incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Normal Police Department.
