NORMAL — "Table Manners" opens April 4 with a pay-what-you-can-preview at Heartland Theatre Co.

The Alan Acykbourn play continues through April 20 for three long weekends. It is directed by Joe McDonnell and features Adam Alexander, Blair Coats, David Krostal, John D. Poling, Kayla Russell and Abby Scott.

In the play, a mild-mannered librarian takes an illicit weekend getaway with his sister-in-law but everyone shows up under the same roof.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 4-6, 11-13 and 18-20, with 2 p.m. matinees on April 14 and April 20. A panel discussion with McDonnell follows the April 14 production. The April 20 matinee offers a free theater class for kids grades K-6 and parents get 2-for-1 tickets.

For reservations, call 309-452-8709 or email boxoffice@heartlandtheatre.org.

Tickets are $17 general admission; $15 senior and military; $7 students. The theater is at 1110 Douglas St, One Normal Plaza, Community Activity Center, Normal.
