Following are a couple of the charity organizations that are pushing a smoking ban:

w The American Cancer Society, which has assets of $1.6 billion, annual income of $926 million and whose CEO makes $496,892.

w Smaller and closer to home, The American Lung Association of Illinois/Iowa has assets of $7.8 million, annual income of $7.2 million and their CEO makes $121,656.

If business, revenue and jobs are lost, I'm sure these altruistic, morally superior organizations will be eager to kick in a few bucks to help out the bar and restaurant employees, and ex-employees.
