In regard to the front-page article May 19 about the “end of the world,” it’s interesting to note that it received so much attention by the media around the globe, especially here in the United States, newspapers, TV, Internet and even the comics.

Just as in the time of Noah, people scoffed and ridiculed him as it took Noah 120 years to prepare an ark to preserve posterity through Noah’s family and the animal kingdom from the flood that destroyed the rest of the world.

The word rapture is not mentioned in the Bible, but the concept that Mr. Camping speaks about is accurate according to interpretation of prophecy, also of Jesus and the apostles’ teachings. However, Jesus makes it plain that no man knows the day or the hour when his coming will take place. So, I believe it is very significant that this incident received so much publicity.

God is making himself clear, by the increased intensity of earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, natural disasters, the wickedness of mankind, etc., that as he warned the people of Earth in Noah’s time, we are getting warned for the approaching wrath of God against this world, just as is prophesied in the Holy Bible. Be ready.
