In regard to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum: I have read all these articles on how it is not making money and is in debt. Why don't they put a section in the paper to advertise the upcoming events every day or every weekend so we can read about it in the paper and then pick something to go to.

Not everyone has a computer to check on this. If it's in the paper, I have never seen it. I read the paper every day. Am I missing it?

I'm not talking about just one event at a time. Show a list of what's coming for the next month or two so we can prepare.

In regard to all the cigarette butts in front of stores: I know it is very distasteful to see cigarette butts on the ground in front of stores, but I would rather see that instead of all the "spit" spots and chewing gum stuck to the ground in front of stores. It makes me want to vomit.

Keep Kleenex in your pocket for spit and gum and put your butts out in your car ashtray before entering a store. That would be a responsible citizen.

In regard to violent movies and games: They may not lead our children to a crime-filled lifestyle, but they don't teach them the right way of life.

I sure am glad I grew up with programs like "Leave It to Beaver" and "Father Knows Best." It taught me a lot on a positive level.

Children are empty vessels. It is up to parents to fill them with positive things to watch and do.

Violent movies and games are not the answer.
