Social Security funds should be left alone
I have been trying for some time to convince members of Congress that the Social Security trust funds belong to the American people, who are required by law to pay into the funds. That is our pension money and should not be spent for anything other than Social Security and Medicare. Any other use is misappropriation of the funds, which I believe is illegal.
It is going to take a grassroots effort to convince Congress of this fact. I want everyone who agrees with me to contact their members of Congress and members from other states to try to get this message across. There is enough money in the funds if Congress would stop "raiding" it.
