Unfortunately, I was unable to attend Rep. Adam Kinzinger’s town hall meeting this past Saturday but based on what I read in The Pantagraph’s report of the event, I gleaned Mr. Kinzinger responded to the audience comments in true Republican form.
When responding to audience disagreement about his views on how to correct our national financial crisis, he once again tossed out that marvelous Republican chestnut for the George Bush tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations as “the key to economic productivity.” And once again, a perfect example of a politician not listening to his/her constituents and their opinions.
After 10 years of tax cuts and the downward spiraling of American jobs and our economy, you would think the Republicans would finally understand that American’s no longer drink from that “glass of Kool-Aid” and have chosen to become more determined to voice their opinions. Only to land on deaf ears. Again.
