Time to freeze wages — of congressmen

So, let me get this straight; congress - I haven't enough respect to capitalize - is debating a tax cut on inherited multimillion-dollar estates and to this bill they are tacking on a minimum wage increase that probably won't pass because of the wage increase.

On the other side of this coin, they have increased their own wages by $31,000!

When do we get a say in whether or not they have earned that increase? Don't they work for us?

It seems the old saw "of the government, by the government, and for the government" is alive and well in Washington.

Why don't we freeze their wages for 10 years and give the working people in this country something to live on.
