After reading the Friday newspaper article discussing the financial situation for the Coliseum, I suggest we apply the same guidelines to other Pantagraph stories.

For example: The Eagle Watch on the front page would read "the bald eagles at Miller Park Zoo, which lost $738,436 last year, still sit on the nest" or the library summer reading article on page 3 would include "Bloomington Public Library, which receives over $4 million in property tax revenue, begins sign-up on Monday" or the recent front page article about Holiday Pool would mention that the pool is budgeted to lose $64,199 this year.

I can't wait to see the follow-up story on the revenue increase generated by the Japanese Calligraphy Exhibit at the Children's Discovery Museum.

The real headline you'll never see: "Bloomington tax revenue increases; downtown business owners point to Coliseum."
